Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
1. Introduction
Dashfeed (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Oblik LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our analytics platform at dashfeed.ai and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Profile photo (if provided or via third-party authentication)
- Organization/workspace name
- Authentication credentials or third-party login tokens (e.g., Google SSO)
Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
- Device information (operating system, device type)
- Feature usage and interaction data within the Service
Product Analytics (First-Party)
Separately from Google Analytics, Dashfeed keeps its own first-party record of product events — for example that a dashboard was opened, a post was published, or a page finished loading — so we can operate, debug, and improve the Service. This record is ours, is not sold or shared for advertising, and is not sent to Google.
These events are stored against pseudonymous identifiers, not against your name or email. They carry the type of action, the page template (never the actual URL, query string, or referrer), coarse timing, and your workspace — never your content, queries, SQL, prompts, search terms, dashboard data, or message bodies.
You can turn first-party product analytics off for your account at any time under Settings → Privacy. Turning it off is prospective: we stop recording new events for you, and records already collected are retained until they age out under the retention period below or your account is deleted.
Customer Data
When you connect warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL), we process data from those sources to provide analytics, dashboards, and insights. We access this data on your behalf and according to your configuration.
Mobile Phone Numbers and SMS
Dashfeed collects mobile phone numbers only when users provide them for SMS verification and notification delivery. SMS opt-in is optional and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP, removing the phone number from your account, or disabling SMS for the workspace.
Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Twilio is used as a service provider/subprocessor for SMS delivery. SMS message logs may include delivery metadata and a redacted preview of message content necessary for security, troubleshooting, compliance, and audit.
Message frequency depends on your workspace's automation and alert settings, typically up to 10 messages per day per user. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Process and display analytics, dashboards, and AI-generated insights
- Send transactional emails (e.g., workspace invitations, alerts, password resets)
- Respond to support requests
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors that help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing)
- Workspace Members: Other members of your workspace can see content you post, your profile information, and shared dashboards
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Customer data from connected warehouses is processed in real time and is not stored beyond what is necessary to render dashboards and insights. Cached query results are retained for performance and are automatically purged.
Raw first-party product-analytics events, which are pseudonymous, are retained for up to 400 days and are then deleted. De-identified aggregates derived from them — counts and totals by day, event type, and workspace, containing no user or session identifiers — are kept longer so we can understand trends over time.
When you delete your account, your product-analytics records are anonymised: the identifiers linking events to you are removed, leaving only de-identified facts about what happened and when.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (e.g., Google for authentication, Stripe for payments, data warehouses for analytics). These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state, and one small cookie that remembers your analytics choice below.
We also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Service. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, approximate location (city/region), and the referring site. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Google Analytics consent is separate from Dashfeed's own first-party product analytics described in Section 2, and the two are controlled independently under Settings → Privacy. Declining Google Analytics does not turn off first-party product analytics, and turning off first-party product analytics does not by itself change your Google Analytics choice.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, we treat that as a decline for Google Analytics: analytics storage stays denied, no Google Analytics cookies are set for custom events, and no pseudonymous identifier is attached. Those signals do not by themselves turn off first-party product analytics, which you control with the separate setting described in Section 2.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
